On 7-10-14, I had the software update for the recall 14S04 performed on my C-Max.  On the drive home, I noticed that the electrical was not working correctly.  The radio would not set and other issues.  I turned the car around and went back to the dealer and they made other adjustments and sent me home.  The next day, the car was dead.  Had to call roadside assistance to jump start the car and then I drove it to the dealer and left it for 12 days as I was going on vacation and did not want a repeat of the issue when I got home.  Immediately with the software update 14S04, my MPG mileage has plummeted from 40 MPG to 34-35 MPG for each tank of gas and the lifetime MPG has dropped from 38.0 to 37.7.  I am finding that the low speed MPG is very low.  I had been getting 50+ MPG for speeds < 45 MPH but am getting under 20 MPG now for low speed trips.  The trip home on the afternoon of the change was 17 MPG at 30 MPG.  I am trying to find out if anyone else has experienced this with the 14S04 recall software update and if so, what the resolution was.  Would appreciate any assistance.  Thanks.
